Dhadak actress Janhvi Kapoor too penned a heartfelt tribute to the veteran superstar Rishi Kapoor. The late actor had shared screen space with her late mother Sridevi in movies such as Chandni and Nagina. The young actress on her last tribute to the superstar thanked him for leaving behind a legacy of some legendary work which is full of life and concluded her note with broken heart emoji. The actress shared a throwback picture of the actor in her Instagram post.

Her last tribute to the veteran actor read, “An icon. In every way. You’ve left a ceaseless void in this industry and world- somehow even for those who never had the chance of really knowing you. But you have also left with us a plethora of legendary work and innumerable stories of your candour, humour and zest for life that’ll remain with us forever. Rest in peace,” followed by broken heart emoji.

The actor breathed his last today morning at 8:45 am at HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai.


The actor breathed his last after his prolonged battle against cancer. Currently the Kapoor family members are seen visiting the hospital. Meanwhile, there is also news of his daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni who resides in Delhi departing from the capital to attend her father’s last rites.
